Understand the position before the clock
A timed hold records endurance in one setup. It is not a clinical grip-strength score or a ranking against other people. This guide helps you choose and understand a starting exercise.
A few things worth knowing
Do I need to do a full hang?
No. Begin with a supported position appropriate to your equipment. If you are new, choose setup practice without a timer. The positions are not a sequence you must attempt in one session.
Does the page time my hold?
No. Use an external stopwatch or a helper for a familiar hold, then enter the time. If you cannot measure it without interacting with a phone during the hold, choose untimed practice.
Are training positions the same as product levels?
No. Positions describe how you practice. Level 1 and Level 2 describe Monkee Grip products. Level 2 is smaller in diameter and harder to hold. Pro is a construction option, not an ability level.
