  1. Loop around the attachment point

Choose compatible equipment with enough clearance for the grip and your hand.

  2. Pass the handle through the loop

Pull the hitch snug around the attachment point. You do not need to remove a suitable fixed bar.

  3. Check the setup. Start light.

Inspect the grips, equipment and attachment before loading. Begin with support or a lighter load, and stay in control.

04 / WHY MONKEE GRIP EXISTS

Rope training. Without the high ceiling.

Monkee Grip started with a practical problem: how to bring rope training into a space that could not fit a full climbing rope. That idea became portable grips for familiar training equipment.

The product story is in the details: material choices, construction and the way the grips fit into a workout. Get to know the thinking behind them.

Do I need to be able to do pull-ups?

No. Your starting position and support should match your ability and setup. The Grip Test guide can help you find a training starting point; it does not require you to perform a maximum-effort hang.

Does Level 2 mean beginner?

No. Level 2 Monkee Grips have a smaller diameter and offer a harder grip challenge. Level 2 is not a beginner stage or a strength score. The Grip Test uses separate training stages.

Will they fit my equipment?

Check the setup instructions, available clearance and your equipment’s intended use before loading. Cable training requires the Cable Adapter Kit and a compatible connector. If you are unsure, contact us before purchasing.

What are shipping and returns like?

Domestic U.S. Economy shipping is free, with estimated delivery in 5–7 business days. Initiate a change-of-mind return within 30 days of delivery; grips must be unused and you pay return shipping. We cover return shipping for defective or damaged grips. See the product page for full terms and shipping upgrades.

How do I care for the grips?

Keep jute dry: do not wash or soak it; gently remove loose dirt with a soft, dry brush. Cotton grips are hand-wash cool only, then hang to dry completely. Inspect all grips before use.
